Neuro Coordination - Who are we?

We are a Support Coordination provider with a focus on empowerment

We are here to help navigate the complexities of the NDIS while providing education, support and a safe space to ask questions. We want to work with you to identify, plan and implement your goals whatever they may look like.

Our Support Coordination

We provide Support Coordination to both individuals and family units. We treat each participant as their own individual and have a strong focus on choice and control. We welcome all ages, genders and support needs.

We have a specialisation in Neurodiverse (ASD) participants, that’s where the name Neuro Coordination came from. Our Managing Director Holly has lived experience with being Neurodivergent and has the core belief that knowledge is power.

That does not limit our ability to work with participants with other disabilities as we understand that each individual has their own unique needs. As our team grows we will have profiles for each Coordinator with their areas of special interests and expertise. We will complete an intake call with you to discuss your needs and to match you to the right Coordinator. We will tailor the way we deliver our services to suit your needs.

What is Support Coordination?

Maybe you have had Support Coordination in your plan for a number of years and looking for a new coordinator or this could be your first plan with coordination included. I have found over my time in Support Coordination that there is still limited understanding on what exactly our role is.

The NDIS explains Support Coordination as “Support coordination helps you to make the best use of your supports in plan. Support coordination is a capacity building support which helps you to:

  • Understand and use you NDIS plan to pursue your goals

  • Connect you with NDIS providers, community, mainstream and other government services

  • Build your confidence and skills to use and coordinate your supports ”

As you may be thinking, that seems very vague and that is for a reason. The way Support Coordination will look will be very different for each participant. Each participant will have their own support needs and goals that they are working towards and our job is to educate, empower and connect.
